Scope and purpose of this privacy policy (23 January 2023)

This policy applies to all online events hosted by Delta Swan. It describes how Delta Swan collects, stores, processes, shares and deletes your personal data.

The personal data we collect and why we collect it

Registration data

When people register to attend Delta Swan online events, I collect data to enable your registration and ensure only registered attendees can access the events.

Communications

I only use the data you provide to send you the link to the event, reminders and post event surveys.

How long I keep your data

Your data is associated with the event in my calendar and will be retained for no more than three years. If you enter into conversation with me via email, your email will be saved by Outlook. Unless I create a contact for you, I will delete the Outlook record within one year. If I create a contact for you I will delete the data within two years.

Your rights over your data

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in my data management processes. Please return to this page for details of any changes.

Data protection under contract

If you work with Delta Swan, then Michelle will process your name, email and address to complete our contract and issue an invoice. After payment our accountant will keep these details for the HMRC. You can request the removal of your personal details from all devices and systems owned or used by Delta Swan Limited.

Should Delta Swan suffer a data breach, Michelle shall inform the Information Commissioner’s Office within 24 Hours.

What third-party data I receive

Delta Swan acquires no data from third parties.

Delta Swan has no automated decision making and conducts no profiling with user data.
